Featured Speaker – Ed Bronsdon, Executive Director, Outdoors for All Foundation

  • Ed Bronsdon joined the Outdoors for All Foundation as executive director in 1995 when it was then known as the Ski for All Foundation. Outdoors for All’s mission is: To enrich the quality of life for children and adults with disabilities through outdoor recreation. Ed grew up in Seattle and Issaquah and is married to Monica Fawthrop; they live in Seattle and have two adult sons: Conor and Daniel. Locally, Ed volunteers in the community with the University Sunrise Rotary Club of Seattle and has been a Rotarian since 1987; he’s currently a board member with University Sunrise Rotary and he’s a past president with the Rotary Club of Issaquah. Nationally, Ed volunteers with Move United (formerly Disabled Sports USA) and serves on this organization’s national board of directors. Internationally, Ed volunteers with Blesma – The Limbless Veterans, a British charity, and serves as the adaptive skiing liaison for Blesma’s annual Winter Sports week. Ed is a graduate of the University of Washington – Jackson School of International Studies; he has a certificate in Rehabilitation Facilities Management from Seattle University. He holds Alpine Level 3 and Adaptive Level 1 certifications with the Professional Ski Instructors of America.
