Auburn Rotary Welcomes White River Valley Museum
Auburn Rotary was delighted to welcome Rachael McAlister from the White River Valley Museum for a lively and informative program highlighting the many exciting happenings at both the museum and Mary Olson Farm. McAlister shared details about the current exhibit, Shaping the Valley, which is part of the museum’s participation in the statewide celebration of America’s 250th in partnership with the Washington State Historical Society. She noted that in 2026 the museum will help the community reflect on our shared histories and the people and events that shaped the White River Valley.
Rotarians also enjoyed hearing about the museum’s strong partnership with Auburn School District, where students and teachers use the museum as part of their learning curriculum. Adding to the excitement, McAlister previewed a new exhibit now in development that promises to be a real crowd-pleaser, featuring stage outfits from famous music performers.
