Auburn Symphony Brings Music to the Community
Auburn Rotary welcomed our own Gabi Galloway, who shared an inspiring look at the Auburn Symphony Orchestra and its work to change lives in the South Puget Sound through the shared experience of live orchestral music. Gabi highlighted the Symphony’s commitment to nurturing connections between audiences and artists, along with its outreach to children, school programs, and free family concerts.
These efforts help introduce young people to orchestral instruments and open the door for families who may not otherwise attend because of cost. Gabi also shared that many free-concert attendees were experiencing a symphony or orchestra performance for the first time. Thanks in part to state arts funding, Auburn Symphony continues to make live music more accessible.
Upcoming events include Mozart Requiem with Seattle Pro Musica on May 3, 2026, and the announcement of Auburn Symphony’s upcoming 30th season.
