Code4Northwest – Code4NW Strengthens First Responders Through Confidential Support and Resilience
Trish Small was the program speaker for the April 15 Auburn Rotary meeting, sharing from personal experience about the unique needs of first responders and how Code 4 Northwest can be a true lifeline in times of crisis.
Code 4 Northwest is an entirely volunteer-run, free, and confidential crisis response and referral network serving active and retired first responders, EMS, corrections, civilian support personnel, and their families across Washington State. Created to ensure first responders have access to the best help possible when facing crisis, the organization is dedicated to providing personalized support and trusted resources when they are needed most.
One of the most meaningful aspects of Code 4 Northwest is that every call is answered by a live person who understands the challenges firsthand. All call-takers are current or former first responders or work in the public safety or EMS field in Washington State.
