Featured Speaker – AC Sherpa, Executive Director 7 Summits Foundation, Consulate General for Republic of Nepal
AC Sherpa, originally from the remote village of Tapting in Nepal’s eastern Himalayan region, was born in Solu Khumbu. At the age of 13, he moved to Mercer Island High School, graduating in 1990. He continued his education at BCC, eventually transferring to UW Bothell and graduating in 1994. Subsequently, he attended HPU in Honolulu, Hawaii, from 1995 to 1998.
Since 1998, AC Sherpa has been actively involved in running businesses. Notably, he achieved the impressive feat of climbing the Seven Summits, conquering the highest peaks on each continent, and completed this accomplishment in 2010.
Recognized for his contributions to tourism, he was appointed as a Goodwill Ambassador for the tourism year by the government of Nepal in 2011. AC Sherpa has also been serving as a Consul for the Government of Nepal since 2016.
