Dr. Kathleen Davis is member of the Ballard Rotary and Chair of the District 5030 Global Grants Committee. Over the last 10 years, she and her husband have been working with organizations in Guatemala supporting clean water and sanitation, ventilated indoor cooking stoves, and primary school education for rural indigenous populations with Global and District Rotary Grants. Kathleen also works with programs in east and west Africa helping women with severe childbirth injuries get restorative surgical treatment and become productive members of their communities again.

Kathleen is a retired internal medicine physician who has taught and practiced medicine in the United States and in low resources countries in Africa, and Asia. After moving from the DC area 28 years ago, she practiced at Madigan Army Hospital and at the Yakima Valley Farmworker’s Clinic in Toppenish.

She and her husband love boats, mountains, and all the Performing Arts Seattle has to offer.
