Julia Patterson lived in Alaska for twenty years where she was a self-employed
insurance agent. She also served on the benevolence team of her church in Alaska
and, later, in Washington. Six years ago, Julia felt called to serve homeless families
at Vine Maple Place – first as a volunteer ambassador and then she went on staff
in 2017. Today she brings her experience as a business owner and in benevolence
ministry to her role as the Engagement & Communications Director for Vine
Maple Place. Every day Julia works to help people understand the issue of family
homelessness in our area and how to solve it.
