Nickhath Sheriff is the Founder and CEO of Seattle-based nonprofit, MAPS-MCRC (Muslim Community Resource Center). She has 30+ years of experience with nonprofits, serves on the Board of Directors for Hopelink, has been on the Leadership Eastside’s steering committee and has helped develop the Bellevue Backpack Meals and Cultural Conversation programs. At Essentials First, a seattle-based nonprofit providing essential hygiene items to low-income families in the state of Washington, Nickhath is responsible for strategic planning and policy development. She has been instrumental in shaping Essentials First from the ground up and has overseen the organization’s substantial growth since its inception in 2017.
