Rachael McAlister is the Director of Auburn’s White River Valley Museum and Mary Olson Farm. She began her service to the City of Auburn as the Museum’s Curator of Education in 2011 and took on the role of Director in 2018. McAlister came to Washington state from her hometown of Nashville, Tennessee where she worked in Special Events and Education at the Nashville Zoo and the Grassmere Historic Home. She holds a Bachelor of Art in Fine Art from Belmont University and a Masters in Museum Studies from the Johns Hopkins University.
